Sitcom star Valerie Simmons is making her Broadway debut, a long-held goal before Hollywood fame and wealth shoved that dream to a back burner. Following a performance, her daughter Stevie, who initiated no contact with her mother five years earlier, shows up in her dressing room doorway with no warning.
